Invention of the Year 2006

Wovel , a wheeled snow shovel "The icecaps biggest enemy!"

Check out the accessories: "YakTrax: Shoe Traction Device"

crocop 11-24-2006 06:58 PM

the only thing new about this is the size of the wheel, my old neighbors had shovels with wheels for years

DjSap 11-24-2006 07:06 PM

wanted to get one but it kind of seems like a pain to use...seems like it would be quicker with a traditional one...

acctman 11-24-2006 07:13 PM

lets see, 1 big ass wheel + flipping motion + snow / ice = Fall flat on your face

squishypimp 11-24-2006 07:16 PM

thats hot :)

kezia 11-24-2006 07:20 PM

Spunky 11-24-2006 07:35 PM

Doesn't look like you can toss the snow very far

tony286 11-24-2006 07:37 PM

that is too cool , when I lived in NY I wished I had one.

born2blog 11-24-2006 08:16 PM

pretty cool, not a bad price either!

mikeyddddd 11-24-2006 08:35 PM

I'm a cold weather pussy. I don't understand living where such a device is necessary.

MOxxx 11-24-2006 08:35 PM

Whoever is going to buy is a dumbass

Roomba of scooba? If it's scooba you're lucky: http://www.sharperimage.com has a 3 day promo $239 and there are many links out there that give free shipping on +$100 orders.

I started with 1 roomba and have bought an extra one for upstairs followed by one for my mother, one for my sister and one for my sister in law. These things are simply amazing. Clean your house as good as you can and let roomba have a go at it for an hour.... you'll feel ashamed about how dirty your house is.

So when they came out I immediatly ordered a Scooba. While it does a great job the floor is not dry after it is cleaned (as advertided)... but hey I can wait for 15 minutes for it to dry. And it's not that great on the edges. But putting a mop around those edges once a week soen't bother me that much...

I ordered all of mine from the US and I'm in europe so guarantee could be an issue but untill know -knock on wood- not one signle problem with any of the machines.

Can't wait untill they introduce their lawn-mowing robot.

MyNameIsNobody 11-24-2006 10:17 PM

does it actually work? seems like it can only handle the snow on top and leaves a small layer of snow anyway. How are you supposed to scrape ?!

PMdave 11-24-2006 10:18 PM

oh yeah hsn has the top of the line roomba for only $249
