Which Streaming format do you want content in?
 

If you were to buy streaming content from a provide which format would you rather have it? And why would rather have that format?

Quicktime not even in the running?

I prefer DVD..downloads fast as fuck...well when I fuck it is pretty fast..and short for that matter...

AVI/DivX (MPEG-4) is the best! MS formats are good for steaming too:thumbsup

Problem with that is that they need to go download Divx, mind you they need to do that with quicktime but i think more morons (paying members) would opt to download quicktime.

I got rights for 100's of dvds which i can stream, if you have any opinions on how/which is the best way to rip/stream it im all ears.

Put it in good quality MPEG and let people decide which streaming format to use for themselves. :thumbsup I use ASF for streams, but I like to have good quality MPEG to create them.

Just got rights for another 400 titles, but they're not on dvd which means i have rip them from svhs which is gay :(

I find when you take things to mpeg, then from then further compress them to whatever format you want to stream in you lose too much in quality.

I'm in the UK at the moment and trying to organise 150 hours of video to go to Czech, so I can stream it there.

If I edit it and stream it to mpeg, can webmasters convertit and compress it to what they want?

Will probably be doing a lot of video in the future, just need to know what people want.

And as they come around the last bend, WMV takes the lead!

I would go with quicktime 6 (MPEG 4) which is what i use for my stuff.
