Are people crazy/violent around the holidays?
 

Yesterday I am waiting in line at boston market, this spanish guy is BEHIND me in line. He starts making a scene, saying he was ahead of me in broken english, people were looking at him like he was crazy.. He keeps pushing his food infront of mine and I push it back, starts yelling all this crazy shit at me.. I was praying he would atleast push me.

Now 15 minutes ago, I go to Einsteins Bagel, I walk in behind this guy, he immediately walks to the coffee line, and I go to place my order at the bagel line. This guy is about 40ish, angry looking..

"Hey kid, you must be pretty fucking unconscience if you dont see me ahead of you"

My response you see the "order here" sign?

We trade a few words, I get to the cash register before him and say "you want me to wait for you right here too?" and he gets upset.

Again, I just wanted him to atleast push me..

I think i am going to stay inside until monday.

Holidays can be scary and I have been pushed, shoved, yelled at etc. by these raving maniacs in the stores.

They really need to take an anti-anxiety drug PRIOR to heading out to shop

I just ignore people and let people do as they please if I'm not in a hurry. It's not worth my energy and at the end of the day, I think my life is probably easier and better than most, so I'll just let them do what they'd like.

Yes, people lose their minds over the holidays.

I love watching the stores open with the flood of people push in for the christmas rush, people falling down and fighting over dumb shit like Elmo.

I like to avoid all of that when possible.

Yeah, holiday stress sucks. Sounds like those two were just assholes to start with, but stress may have made them worse.

I usually pistol whip those type of people.

I get home, post on gfy, go out on the balcony, and I see all these helicopters around the Miami Herald building. Turn on the news and some guy walks in there with a shotgun and now its a hostage situation apparently.. JESUS, people need to relax.

This is what happens when someone wakes up too late on Black Friday and misses the deals.

I went to a florida panthers this week, and sure enough a fight breaks out in the stands over some chanting.. shit that doesnt matter.

Went to a college football game lastnight, sure enough, same thing.
