Reeeeeeally stupid question...why is it called "Black Friday"? I'm sure I knew at one point, but you know, I'm getting old and can't remember shit now.

Should be in my part of the US. I was at Wal Mart at 8:00 this morning...and it was a fucking ghost town. I hope that businesses other places are doing better.
