everyone i know missed too. i only know one person that even got the "get this deal" button. they answered the question, was a simple math question and agreed to terms,etc. then it told them it was sold out..

I missed it too - couldn't get the page to load.

I had 8 computers, 4 each at two seperate houses, and amazon timed out about a minute before it changed and most the computers didn't load the amazon page up 5-10 minutes after it was over. When the first computer finally got through amazon's lag, of course it said "sold out.". So I'm not sure who got any. I sure the fuck didn't. =(

What was the big deal with this sale, where they on discount? The local stores are still stocked up fine...

that shit was a hoax for traffic

the servers clogged up for about 15 mins minutes before 11am PST and then the xboxes were sold out once the bandwidth cleared up. it was like a set up who knows they could have faked the whole thing

i don't know anybody that got one either

they must have peaked out with traffic today. must have been the biggest boom all year i haven't seen a lag time-out like that in ages

thousands of people must of new about this.

it was all like a big ddos attack, the smoke cleared up and all the xbox 360s were gone

as soon as i saw that advert last week , i thought straight off that someone hit the 0 button to many times , was meant to read 10 xbox instead of a 1000

y everyone screaming scam? i think amazon is reputible.. thats probably the cheapest advertising campaign theyve ever had.

it was impossible to get amazon to load even a few minutes before the time... Damn those lucky thousand!
