can you name some small paysites that have been successful at startup/launch with minimal content & amateur design.

I'm looking for a motivational boost..

I was thinking of opening up with the 100 sets & then adding 1 new set for every 4 or 5 new members that join,,

It's hard to say without knowing what type of site it is. Is there video too or just photos? When you say 'sets' and I think photo.

What do you need a motivational boost for? You should be able to motivate yourself...You've been here since 2001 and still asking questions like this? Just look at it from somebody elses point of view, see how bad it looks?

solo girls softcore.. 100 photosets.. I plan on adding video, but not til after I get it all working & running, I am thinking of using leased feeds for the video.

I am also looking into cross sells & members area upsells, so I suppose this counts as "content" too.. I also have 20 something stories, & 30 something flash games in there

I'm not naming names, but I used to run a moderately successful non-exclusive coed megasite that consistently converted at better than 1:500 on rather crappy traffic (some days as low as 1:250, other days not quite so well) and cost about $1,000 to start up (plus monthly $$ for updates). It's pretty cheap to start non-exclusive paysites and most surfers don't know the difference (and the ones who do usually don't really care as long as it's the kind of porn they are looking for).

As long as the girls are hot and the content is decent, that should do fine as long as you update regularly (I would recommend adding 5 sets/week in order to get the members area nice and big). Also, set your monthly fee appropriately. Don't charge $30/month, in other words. You could even go as low as $10/month until the members area warrants a higher fee. Just use common sense and think like a surfer.

I'm not naming names either...but there was a site that launched a little over a year ago, had very little content when it did launch, had (and still has) a so-so design...and I was converting it at 1:74. Yeah, I know no one believes that...but I swear it's true. Some here have seen my stats, they know it's true as well. The one thing that she did have was weekly live chats.

Totally believable. Surfers are quirky, sometimes a site just "works" really well. I promote sites that regularly convert at better than 1:20.

make your own avs site with http://www.bxdx.com instead of paysite. you need only small amount of content on this way :2 cents:
