Kramer getting sued
 

Michael Richards is being sued by two of the guys targeted in that tirade at the comedy club. They were on Hannity and Colmes just now and hired a hot shot lawyer looking to make him pay for the suffering he caused and that he was wrong blah blah.

I dont mind them speaking out against Richards on a press tour, and trying to raise awareness to the wrongs of racism, but their first instinct was sue for his money and make right. But both said an apology would not be accepted...

They are actually trying to get Richards in front of a retired judge and have him decide the punishment.

Michael Richards came over to my house for Thanksgiving, you would think this was an awesome thing but no... What they really want to a mid $XX,XXX to low $XXX,XXX pay day to make them shut the hell up so this whole thing will die down and the press will forget about it.

If Richards and his lawyers fight they'll likely win but it will be in the press for the next 6 months. Or he can pay them to shut up now. Which is probably what will happen.

The fact of the matter is that he was in character while on stage. It is an act, a skit, an improvisational skit in realtime! He should not be held accountable for any of his words as long as no one was physically hurt. It was his ART. His right to self expression. Everything that happens on stage is an act, is it not? ;)
