Anyone interested in purchasing an affiliate program?

PimpsPromo has been retained to find a buyer for a 3 year old affiliate program.

Program includes approximately 50 sites, 3,300 affiliates, and earns six figures per year for the last two years.

For the looky-loos, no I am not going to disclose the program here.

Cost is $150k, and includes everything: sites, designs, content, scripts. Billing with CCBill and NATS.

Serious inquiries should be directed to me at [email protected], unless you have my ICQ.

Any gay sites or are they all str8?

Is that '6 figures' per year 4 the last 2yrs gross or net?

Exclusive content or licensed content?

Full NATs license or leased version?

If you have that info available please email me it.

Regards,

Lee

Answering for the benefit of others

This is a new client, so I am still gathering info myself, however:

gay, straight, tranny, fetish
6 per year
looks to all be licensed, but I am in the process of verifying that
Not sure on the NATS, haven't heard back yet.

I am not sure that I am comfortable with dealing with you Lee. Your rep leaves a bit to be desired.

Why not disclose the name of the program here? SheDevilDollars went up for sale here about 2 hours ago and is already sold. Unless that was the request of the client.

Well, the reason is two-fold.

The primary reason I don't is because I don't want the affiliates to be concerned that there might be a problem . . . because there isn't.

Secondly, the client has subsequently requested it.

To tell you the truth, I believe that if you were seriously interested you would have followed the instructions, just like the potential buyer I am talking to now did.

He just wants the members email addresses for free so he can lie about stealing them and spamming his shitty non 2257 compliant gay content.

See sig.

Replied, but you should modify your return mail address. It got filtered to my junk bin based solely on that.

DaddyHalbucks 11-22-2006 08:17 PM

At first glance, the numbers look decent.

What is funny is that she was monitoring this thread and did not seem too upset.

I guess she trusts my judgment.

I'm not clear on something. 6 figures net or 6 figures gross?

She wants $150k.. but wouldn't take it from Lee because he's gay? because you don't like him or trust him? If she got the price she wanted, what does it matter whether you personally cared for the person?

I could care less if he is gay, and my personal like or dislike never comes into play, however trust is a major issue.

When making a sale like this confidential information will be revealed to the prospective buyer. If I can't trust that the information will remain confidential then I have not done my job. People come to me asking for assistance, I don't seek them out. There is a reason for this, whether you want to accept it or not.

I have had 10-12 potential inquiries that have gone on via e-mail and ICQ. I stated in my initial post, "Serious inquiries should be directed to me at [email protected], unless you have my ICQ."

It is a valid way of figuring out who is really serious.

I have brokered the sale of many programs, domains, and sites, and not once has the sale culminated as the result of discussions done in public on any message board.

If he had contacted me in the manner requested he may have gotten more information from me, instead, he tells me to email him and doesn't even reveal his email address.

Sounds like a real serious prospect, doesn't it?

Yes they are. Always the first thing I ask on licensed content.

ladida 11-23-2006 03:09 PM

Too many affiliates for such a low yearly revenue.

Yeah, because we know all affiliates are extremely active.

Luckily his opinion means as much to the people that can afford a program as it does to me. Diddly squat.
