Thanks Mods For Removing The Accident Thread

Many thanks for removing the accident thread - Forgetting the obvious mismanagement at the location of the incident, the sick voyeurism and crass comment from a few GFY members was below the level of swamplife.

I agree :thumbsup

Bro Media - BANNED FOR LIFE 11-22-2006 04:33 PM

good to see, even thought it went 3 pages, personally i think its cheap since nofx posted 1 pic and got banned again, yet dorkjedi posted all pics, and it went to 3 pages before it even got deleted...

I agree with Webby. Someone dying is very tragic and it should not be made fun of. I hope that the young lady rests in peace.

It's tragic that anyone dies that way and easy to make jokes and stupid comments when distanced from the incident.

Not exactly the same circumstances, but had an "incident" at a gas station 100 yards from me last week. A mother drove into the station to refuel. She had two children in the back of the car. By chance, she got out and went into into the gas station store while an attendant was filling up with gas.

Next the car catches fire and the kids in the back banging on the windows and screaming to get out. The fire was too intense to get near them and the mother had to be held back while she watched her children burn to death. That is one very distrubed and troubled mother.

PS Almost exactly the same thing happened with a law friend - she saw a car collide and burst into flames. She stopped and tried to get near the car to see if she could pull anyone out.... the two front seat passengers were either dead or unconcious, but then she noticed two children in the back who started moving then screaming for help. She tried to get them out, but had little chance and got burned in the process. The law appeared fairly quickly and cuffed her to stop her from trying to get the kids out (she was undercover and they never knew she was a govt agent). She always said she will never forget the glimpses of the faces of these kids in the back of that car.

Machete_ 11-22-2006 05:02 PM

I agree. Franck and Dorkjedi should join a club for kids like themselves that weren't held enough as babies.

gfx3 11-22-2006 05:07 PM

I never looked at it, I prefer to look at nice things instead. People who are into that stuff are discusting. The one who posted that stuff here is the same one who made those idiotic comments about Jimthefiend's 7 year old daughter. It's terrible to see what some people will do to get noticed.

Yeah, you come to a website named GoFuckYourself to look at "nice things"

fucking troll

P.S.
it was the most viewed thread today. all those sickos!

seeric 11-22-2006 05:17 PM

what happened? i didnt see an accident thread.

Angry Jew Cat - Banned for Life 11-22-2006 05:20 PM

maybe they deserve to be banned, maybe they don't. i do think the thread was rightfully removed though. i think anyone defending or continuing to link to the thread bans themselve enough to anyone with a somewhat grounded mind, simply by demonstrating what they are all about. a whole lot of people threw up their i'm a sociopathic fuck signs to me lately.

i would like to say something along the lines of "i hope that someone near and dear to you winds up maimed and bloody on the internet one day, so you can reconsider your position on this" but that would just be lowering myself...

scottybuzz 11-22-2006 05:27 PM

that thread was a true realism of life. but not something for an adult webmaster board. and certainly NOT something to be made fun of.

I come for the entertainment and to read the adult industry's online newspaper. I'm also not impressed by a domain name or all the swearing talk :winkwink:

thebossxxx 11-22-2006 05:42 PM

yah that pic was pretty bad coming and i am obviously pretty open minded...

however if you dont want to see stuff like that you have the option of not viewing it...

Lazonby 11-22-2006 05:44 PM

There was no problem with posting the pics. I wonder how many lives it saved by shocking people into realising what happens when you drink and drive. It certainly made me want to avoid drinking and driving.

BlackCrayon 11-22-2006 05:54 PM

at least there was only links to the pics and they weren't posted directly.

Shock treatment is a slippery slope. Is there such thing as too far, if the aims can be justified with logic (after the fact)?

Well put it this way. If the government was to put pictures of diseased lungs on cigarette packets, I think alot of people would give up smoking.

Don't they do that in Canada? How's that working out?

Once again, she was not drunk and driving. I knew this girl very well and everyone who was with her that nite said she wasn't fucked up at all. The only msg her death could serve is drive safe, even if your in a porshe..

Wasn't the original report that she was drunk?

there are people who rightfully consent photos like this of their family members for this purpose, i'm pretty positive that wasnt the case here, which is what makes the entire thing wrong. as for the shock value of the photos influencing anybody, i doubt they did much for the crowd that populates gfy...

They do that but it doesn't work well, people buy cigarette cases and some of them just get used to the packages.

Is it right for GFY mods to police whether or not photos are posted without the consent of the relatives of the dead?

Ffs, this board is full of some of the biggest scammers, thieves and low-lives in existence and people are getting upset about some pictures of a dead girl.
