Who will be using the "INSTANT PAYOUT BY EPASSPORTE" new option in NATS?

Who will the first affiliate to be using this new feature by NATS?

INSTANT PAYOUTS BY EPASSPORTE.

Negative or Positive?

uno 11-22-2006 09:22 AM

We're looking it over and thinking about it.

jimthefiend 11-22-2006 09:25 AM

NEGATIVE. VERY bad idea imho.

But what do I know?

the alchemist 11-22-2006 09:28 AM

Sounds dumb to me, weekly maybe but instant?

jimthefiend 11-22-2006 09:29 AM

Even if you ignore the possible abuse, I just can't see programs wanting to fund the account constantly like that.

BoyAlley 11-22-2006 09:29 AM

I'm sure we'll be seeing some programs use it, and I'm sure affiliates will absolutely love it, but I personally think it's a pretty scurry feature.

Can it be used on an affiliate-by-affiliate basis, or does it have to be turned on program wide?

I can see allowing some long term trusted affiliates use it, as a sign of appreciation and the like, but I can't ever imagine having everyone under the sun use it.

xclusive 11-22-2006 09:31 AM

I think it would be a great idea but only for affiliates that have a track record with the company.

DWB 11-22-2006 09:33 AM

I think it's a bad idea, but now since it's there... it's just a matter of time before everyone starts offering same day $100 payouts on $1 trials.

Someone will be the first and the rest of the sheep will follow.

And around and around we go.....

Nicky 11-22-2006 09:34 AM

Nice feature if you dont look at the fraud that will be possible with it. But id be sure to try it out if some good program decides to use it :)

Tuga 11-22-2006 09:34 AM

I am sure some programs will use it to stand above the crowd.

TheDoc 11-22-2006 09:36 AM

I haven't seen the product but I'm going to go with NO... Almost all webmasters that cc fraud choose epass as the payment method.. So, again no way in hell.

With established webmasters / companies, they don't care about daily payments. If the deal is so big they need to be paid fast then wire payments are simple to do and easier to track. Everyone else can wait on a check or a normal epass payment.

jimthefiend 11-22-2006 09:37 AM

This the the adult industry, not day labor. Fucking dumb idea.

hzoltan 11-22-2006 09:42 AM

do you have a link where I can find more about this NATS update?

PMdave 11-22-2006 09:43 AM

flashcash does it for years. But they have/had some seriuos software in place to detect fraudulent transactions and any suspicious transaction was only paid at the end of the payperiod.

pussyluver 11-22-2006 09:54 AM

Beats waiting or no check. Don't care if JTF thinks of me as day labor!

Instant payment is not required, I'm sure this will get plenty of attention from the sponsors that give it a shot. Seems like risky business as others in the thread have said.

Getting paid once a month is to long right now. Most of us are for that instant gratification I guess.

Doctor Dre 11-22-2006 09:56 AM

I would certainly love my affiliate program to pay me instant... or the next week... not 3 week after the 2 weeks pay period (5 weeks from the first sale sent).

jimthefiend 11-22-2006 09:59 AM

Lot's of programs have weekly payouts, DUH.

See sig.

cool1 11-22-2006 10:00 AM

Once a week for all programswould be great

Pete-KT 11-22-2006 10:03 AM

we WILL NOT use it, with the amount of fraud I hear about and Ive seen a few affilaites with fraud, its not worth it, If an affilaites needs his money right away for some reason I have no problem with them contacting me and getting an early payout

CaptainHowdy 11-22-2006 10:05 AM

I guess It will depend on the webmaster...

Dollarmansteve 11-22-2006 10:08 AM

The irony is the affiliates who would place the highest value in being paid out instantly are the ones most likely to be fraud.

Large affiliates who would be in the 'trusted' category would be bigger operations who arent as depedent on cashflow and most would not put a high-value on getting their money 'nstantly. Getting cash once a week is virtually 'instant' for a legit business.

Klen 11-22-2006 10:10 AM

That will be good,a lot of mainstream affiliate programs use that option.

like which?

Buddy 11-22-2006 10:28 AM

We at FlashCash have been doing this for years, and NATS integrating that feature was a condition of our using their software.

A lot of you guys mentioned the amount of fraud that this opens the door to, you are absolutely right. We are only able to do it because we devote a tremendous amount of time and technology on fraud prevention and detection.
We are happy to provide it for our (honest) webmasters.
Why wait for a check?

STEP 1.
I think a phone interview, a copy of your driver's license and a copy of your electric bill with your current address.

there should be other steps... but I am currently cropping thumbs.

Tempest 11-22-2006 10:55 AM

ePassporte showing once again how they're a haven for all those committing fraud. :thumbsup

bdld 11-22-2006 02:02 PM

sounds like a good thing a sponsor could offer for its' "approved" affiliates.

So, which affiliate program are offering this?

chri$tian 11-22-2006 03:44 PM

I think we will be offering this to our to our already proven current legit webmasters.

marko13 11-22-2006 04:49 PM

i think it is very good option.... i'm tired of waiting 2 weeks for the period and another 1 week the transfer to occur.... i like instant payment... but a lot of sponsors won't do that because they want to play little games with our money...

jacked 11-22-2006 04:52 PM

very good option to payout qualified affiliates obviously you can't open this option up to everyone, it would have to be on a per affiliate basis or the amount of affiliate fraud would jump through the roof.

ArkansasDave 11-22-2006 05:59 PM

sounds like a good way to take the $$ and run. webmaster affiliate here today and gone tomorrow with your loot.

And lots of programs pay out bi-weekly after an initial one month holdback. Start promoting on Nov. 1 and receive your first payment on or after Dec. 16.

Good to fight fraud, but it gets annoying after a couple of years...

madawgz 11-22-2006 08:39 PM

only trusted webmasters of the program should be allowed to use this feature

but whats so wrong waiting a week to get paid? :1orglaugh

you must be confused most Mainstream affiliate programs work on a NET30 or NET60 schedule.

show me some of these wonderful instant payout mainstream programs, my adcenter rep will love me.

Bro Media - BANNED FOR LIFE 11-22-2006 08:49 PM

i agree with all the fraud thing, i wouldn't stop promoting a program because they decide not to use this feature, but it would be nice to get your payout for the sales you sent that day, that night
