Anyone else seen a higher than usual number of affiliate signups over the last week or so ??

sites they run are very different buit the way they promote our site is uncannily similar

and strangly mostly women ??

also two of them have a one hit one sale ratio ???

Yes I got hit with it last week and started the following thread about it:

They're coming from bullshit domain names like http://www.bergdorf-goodman.net where you might still see my banner placed up there...**edit** it's still up so click it and you'll see that the account has been suspended...

It's fraud plain and simple...I cancelled 14 of those russians last week..They tend to run the cards in the early afternoon.

Oh, and ALL of the domains from all of the "affiliates" are hosted on the same server...The affiliate names are women and the signups come from women where their last name is used as part of the username...They MIGHT login to your members area once and click on nothing...

They all used .net or .us domains..

Just checked the traffic to these sites and its zero....

looks like fraud to me too
