What's the best way to play videos right on your webpage? (without youtube) Which method is best for saving bandwidth?

i am thinking about the same... i think i'll go with a flash player with wmv files... anybody got recommendations for a good script?

I think you can do that simple WMV little window thing, but doesn't that use a lot of bandwidth?
