Ikea people are geniuses!

I just bought and built a complete kitchen, and man... this shit builds itself :)

Everything is just so perfect, but simple!

Sure :winkwink: The "art" is in organizing chipboard and plastic to fit together and serving up meatballs to potential buyers. Kamprad found his niche :pimp

When i think of byuing in Ikea, i always think that my house will be so alike otheers, nothing special. May be it is good and even stylish, but too easy for me.

Paparazzi 11-21-2006 03:53 AM

post some pics man :)

salesman 11-21-2006 04:01 AM

yeah, ive bought some paper lamp for my gf and it was packed all in a small box, i didnt believe it will fit all in, ikea has awesome things

Jakke PNG 11-21-2006 04:01 AM

Ikea stuff is such rubbish. Fucking horrible quality. No matter what they advertise.

unless youre getting a handmade all solid wood $100k kitchen EVERY brand is plastic with 50/50 real/plastic covers and doors

Ikea isnt bad and for the price they ask its a good deal. Ive installed a couple and I can tell you installing an all wood UK kitchen is hell and back.

Plus Ikeas meatballs are nice :winkwink:

xato 11-21-2006 04:31 AM

there is a huge difference between ikea a few years ago and ikea nowadays.
without wanting to step on your foot TGF, i think you are biased by some earlier experience and maybe should give nowadays' ikea another try.
for the price they offer i was greatly satisfied when i bought furniture for my apartment.

Miss Vlasta 11-21-2006 04:38 AM

Thanks for the point :thumbsup Was just thinking of buying one there too.

Yup gotta agree with you on this. Also it's a 'once' only assembly. Try taking your IKEA crap apart to move and i'm betting you break half of the pieces.

teh ghey 11-21-2006 04:47 AM

my first apartment was furnished with Ikea and I fucking Loved it, it was cheap and looked good.
not everyone can spend $3,000 on a bedroom set.

luvlyn 11-21-2006 04:48 AM

hmm used to be like that - not anymore and not with the heavier stuff

I re-assembled my Ikea bed 4 times and its still perfect

madawgz 11-21-2006 04:51 AM
