I think its close to impossible to focus and drive better after drinking, but there are shit load of people who think they can. Makes me sick really when think of how many innocent people these drunk drivers kill.

The only things I can do under the influence of alcohol or mary jane is rocket science or brain surger, however, I refuse to drive under the influence.

I tend to drive better on NFS or other driving games while lightly stoned or drunk. But that's a video game.

A real vehicle, no fuckin way. I wont even risk it because I know I don't drive as well. Nobody does. It's simple self assurance by idiots who choose to do it.

The driving was getting in the way of my drinking, so I sold my car.

If people are over-worried (meaning they would drive worse) then calming their nerves a bit would essentially make them better drivers THAN THEY WERE WITHOUT IT.. Doesn't make them good drivers overall though.. :)

You can't compare the two drugs. However, it's not argument, alcohol is far worse for your body, and stoners don't go beat up wifes, kids, and friends in bars. They chill, and think deep thoughts about the world and spend the hell out of money by eating all the food in the house and running up a ppv cable bill.

And yes, people do drive better "hi" than they do with a buz. I don't drive drunk, ever. I have had a few drinks and drove, and really probably shouldn't have. That feeling, when you are hi is very different, your control is very different. Being hi - and being stoned is different, people don't drive stoned, they do drive hi.

If you have rode in a cab, a limo, with your dad probably and friends, you have ridden with someone that is hi, and you would have never been able to tell. Cops can pull them over and can't tell.

And yeah, the world is filled with real idiots that will get into a cars, blasted drunk, stoned, on something, pain meds from the doctor and even true fucking nut cases.. Just the world we live in, and nobody in that condition can safely drive, but to compare the two is stupid, even stoned, the person is a 100% safer of a driver than a fully drunk wasted person.

Show me the millions of news articles of pot smokers killing people in cars, causing car wrecks, and beating the hell out family members. I’m sure more people die in car wrecks from being tired, putting makeup on, or reading the damn paper than die from being stoned and driving.

I once was a heavy smoker and at one point a heavy drinker. It’s rather simple, pot is way safer, way cleaner, it doesn’t kill people, and it provides serious help with aids, cancer, epileptics and many other illnesses.

back when I was working for Adelphia, me and my boss used to smoke pot every morning behind some office building... and aside from our days seeming to go really slow, nothing bad ever happened, not once in 3+ years (i fell off a telephone pole, but that was because a peg was loose)...
