What is the price of webdesign in your country?

For example website of small company, static (only html + css), 5 pages, design should be clean, so nothing difficult.

I have first nonEU client so don't know how much ask for:error

Thanks

Prices in US are higher so maybe I can earn more. But your solution is easy... maybe I will do it as you said.

It all depends on what services they need essentially. I've done alot of research in this area and most good designers charge about 1000-3000$usd.

The price for work I have described is about $400 (central Europe). So thought I can ask for $600 maybe more in USA.

But the goal of this topic is to start discussion about prices in different countries.

pornguy 11-20-2006 01:47 PM

It really depends on the area here they go for between 100 and 300$ and you get what you pay for. they pay shit, and they get shit.

I have charged people as little as 700$, and up to 56k$ it just depends.

Everthing is relative soukee - especially design work.

Assuming you are not underpricing already for the reason labor may be lower in your country - just convert Euros to whatever other currency.

If you are working for less, start pricing for mainstream Europe and on par with an average in most western countries.

It's hardly worth the effort quibbling over $50-$100 either way - the final design/end product "should" be more relevant to a client.

soukee 11-20-2006 02:39 PM

Thanks to all. Appreciate your input.

The price is arranged with the client.

marko13 11-20-2006 02:56 PM

100 euros for simple web site.... east europe...

TheLegacy 11-20-2006 03:00 PM

its cheaper the further you go from USA. Pages usually done for $300US you will find some kid will to do it for 30$ and a promised pizza delivery.

I will end here before I upset alot of people
