They have and will beat Indy if that plays out.

But IMO, they are only the third best team in the AFC West, which is the best division in the NFL.

1-Denver
2-Kansas City
3-San Diego

San Diego is the only team that could actually whoop the shit out of the Raiders. The broncos and chiefs damn near lost to them...

You're crazy if you think KC is better than SD...

They will smoke Indy. Watch and see :) Chargers are just getting started, wait till Merriman and Castillo are back in the defense. Watch out :)

Donny 11-19-2006 09:39 PM

The Raiders are of no consequence, Sticky.

You do realize that KC beat the hell out of San Diego this year?

The Raiders are bad, but they play the AFC West twice round, so they have a tough schedule by default.

I think SD is a tough team, but I think the AFC West is much closer than most think.

Well the Raiders are obviously finished, and I don't think the Chiefs have a shot in hell at making the playoffs... but we'll see!

You may be right and that sucks. It happened last year as well. All three of the teams should make it, obviously one of them will not.

I think all three teams are really solid and I don't think other divsions hold their jocks....

Denver and KC play on Thanksgiving, that should be interesting. However, I stick by what I have said already. I think Denver will win it all.

KC beat the Chargers by 3 points. Same amount that Baltamore beat them by. Thats 6 points total for the 2 Charger loses. The Chargers can and will win the division and probably the Super Bowl. LT will be the leagues MVP for sure.

StickyGreen 11-19-2006 09:50 PM

How long is LT's contract for? The Raiders either need to sign him or find a way to get his ass out of the afc west lol...

Rexk 11-19-2006 09:52 PM

Go Bolts....great win!:thumbsup

Not only will the Chargers NOT win the Superbowl, they won't even make the Championship game.

I hope you have a ticket reserved for me, when the Chiefs come to town :winkwink:

Jesse,

Let me break down my logic:

First, I don’t doubt what you say as a plausible possibility and I do agree that SD can beat Indy in the playoffs.

But, it all comes down to Thursday night.

“If” KC pulls a win out of Denver, they will get the tie breaker against SD. If KC loses, they are out and it is between SD and Denver. However, consider the history of KC and Denver in regular season, they split a lot.

Now, Denver and SD have a rematch, Right? It is highly unlikely that SD will sweep that series. No offense, but playing in SD is like playing in a neutral stadium. I have seen games in SD and KC, trust me, they don’t have a valuable homefield advantage like KC and Denver have.

In this case, SD is out.

In any case, I do think SD is great and I do think it is unfortunate that any of the three mentioned teams will be left out.

I think you could be right and I wouldn’t be shocked. But if I were betting on things, I would go with my order. I don’t see Marty winning a big one against Denver down the road.

Thats why The AFC West is so great, lots of good possible outcomes. I just like my version best :)

hell naw

bdld 11-20-2006 12:36 AM

they beat an undefeated indy team last year, and they lost a close game against the ravens early this season. i think they can take both those teams.

reynold 11-20-2006 07:15 AM

They really have a big chance of winning this series. :)
