What's the going rate for an outsourced..?

What's the going rate for an outsourced guy who knows how to work indenpendently and follow instructions. Type near-perfect english, and actually seek out information on his/her own and run sites based on that knowledge.. or am I better off just hiring someone from my local high-school and training him myself? This would be non-adult. No graphical talent required for the worker, just fluent english and has to know how to work without guiding him every step of the way.

Don't spam me, don't hit me up, don't ask me to hit you up, don't show design portfolios.

I just want to know the monthly fee of owning a work-monkey.

How many hours per day, how many days per week?

Jakke PNG 11-19-2006 12:53 PM

6-8 hours, 5 days a week.

CaptainHowdy 11-19-2006 12:59 PM

If you want to hire someone freelance... $300-$500/mo

If you want to use an outsourcing company that has proper infrastructure and administration to have dependable staff; then you're looking at more around $1000

Andiz 11-19-2006 04:14 PM

I'd say 1000-1500 dollar per month

wyldblyss 11-19-2006 04:15 PM

How much? Priceless :) You could grab an outsourced worker that makes 600-800 a month, but in my experience, they need constant supervision. I hgave never found much in the way of independent thought...and even though they may speak fluent english, they just can't grasp some thing.

Give them very specific tasks in writing, and check on them daily to make sure they actually understand...repetitive work, and after a bit maybe.

North American worker...some are gung ho in the beginning but soon fizzle out and get bored and good luck tracking them down, or they figure they are way under paid and deserve a whole lot more.

It may take you a couple of tries but I think you can eventually find your match. Good luck!

grunt work involving proper english skills usually starts out at 10 an hour...below that and you'll get an idiot most of the time...
