Do you scan a toon on paper and then go from there? or is this all pen tool in Freehand or soemthing?


I wanna try doing some toons, I used to draw cartoons all the time...I know I could do that and scan things, but I dont think I could draw them digitally..... I better go do some research....

damn those are great :)

Hand drawn on large paper... then scanned (two times coz my scanner isn't big enough for the whole image!) ... then line and color work done in Photoshop. All I'll say is we redo ALL lines on computer and have a very very very very very very sharp line quality that you can't achive by doing what some toon artists do, and that's to use the lines from the pencil as the final line work.
