The question in the form of the data card of the passport - printed passport = good, and handwritten - as if not correct though the state both wants, and fills documents

He wants to know if it's a 2257 requirement to have all information on a passport be printed rather than handwritten.

On 2257 I do not have questions
Simply on passports of some countries data are written by hand, and one client speaks that only the printed letters approach it...

Ok, well then I suppose you'll have to deal with that on a client-by-client basis. But, this question is somewhat open-ended and you will most likely get a different answer depending upon the client's/respondant's country of residence.

i know what you mean: ukrainian passports for example are handwritten, not machine printed.

as far as i know, the law says "government issued photo id" - it doesn't say they the cannot be handwritten
