Rosehip soup - Do Americans Eat it?

Rosehip soup or Rosehip cream, call it whatever you like.

I used to eat roship soup every once in a while when I was a kid, especially in the winter time. (Yes I am Swedish).

Warm rosehip soup with bisquits or vanilla ice cream! Yummy!!

So, do you guys in the states, and anywhere else for that matter eat the stuff?
Did you ever hear about it?

Nope, never heard of it until now. What is a "rosehip"?

After Shock Media 11-19-2006 02:34 AM

Does not look like rose hips. Which unless I am wrong are the little apple looking things at the bottom or roses when winter come about.

I do make tea from them though.

What is a rosehip anyway? I haven't tried eating this.

Of course we do. Don't you know? Americans will eat anything!

Probably some people up in the Pacific NW, i dont think they grow down here in the south.

I used to sell them for decorative cut foliage a long time ago and we would get them from Oregon.
