They have spamware that installs and popover/popunder company adds depending on what website an affected computer navigates too...

Navigate to one dating site via an affiliate link... a rival dating site pops under via zango.

to put it in simple terms..

If you promote aff , when a surfer who has zango clicks your ad for aff , a popup bought by aff rewrites your cookie so you dont get credit. Basically aff pays zango to steal your traffic

Lets say you use a sponsor like AFF. AFF does business with Zango.
So if a surfer has installed Zango by his/her command, whenever this surfer clicks on an AFF link on any page (like we use in this example) the surfer gets an AFF popup window by Zango over your AFF link. So the surfer sees the Zango AFF popup over the original link (your AFF link code).
