so one member in 4 years that a paysite has been online doesn't read the navbar inside the member's area to see that a certain gallery with original video is password protected.

i mean it does happen, but the password info is right on the member navbar in 14pt type, and this is ONE member complaint in 4 years.

so this one member complains to ccbill that "he can't see the video".

so ccbill generates an AUP violation with a "donotreply" address.

so i check the website, and of course the password works perfectly and i email a response immediately to support at ccbill.

a few days later, i get another auto-generated email that "unless the issue is corrected within 24 hours" the website will be de-activated and all members will be refunded. (mind you i've been with ccbill for 8 years with a whole bunch of active paysites with zero probs)

so today again i check the video link password, and of course it works perfectly.

so i frantically try to call the toll-free support number given in the auto-generated email---and can't get through because it is the consumer toll-free number, not the webmaster toll-free number.

so i log back in to my admin panel and finally get ahold of webmaster support and they check and sure enough everything is fine.

I haven't had any issues with them. Also, they're very easy to contact and their response time is nearly immediate.

CCBill rocks.

I believe that once someone complains of a violation, and the ball gets rolling, the other emails get sent automatically, regardless if you've cleared it up or not.
Gives you incentive to go and check back to make sure its working again. I could be wrong, but they do want to send the message they are serious about protecting their merchant account, as well as all the other accounts that do business with them.

Im pretty sure they would check to see if there was truth to the issue before issuing the aup violation, but if the login you gave ccbill wasnt working anymore, that would be enough to trigger the violation emails.

No worries, if everything was working fine, no need to stress, ccbill is top notch and will make sure your taken care of.
