dropped phone in puddle...

so i dropped my phone in a puddle while removing a case of beer from my car. It was in that puddle for about 20 mins but the impact turned it off. It worked momentarily but then the screen went fucked.

I let it dry overnight, turned it on in the morning everything worked fine, until i closed the clamshell, and now the thing wont light up the screen again.

Its by a space heater now to dry it out some more, the white sticker inside it is still white and not red.

any ideas how to fix this? Im thinking im gonna let it dry out a bit more and take it to fido, play stupid, and see if they will replace it.

first you should always remove the battery if its dropped in water, then as soon as possible you should disassemble everything and dry all the parts under a fan...then put it together and pray...

Nope, they have a little Dye Sticker on the back that showed the Company if the phone has water damage or whatnot.. :2 cents:

Hmm, I smell a market for selling replacement stickers to allow end users to replace their... defective... stickers.

Better consult a reliable repair shop first. If it can't be fixed anymore, then you better buy a new one. :)
