Contest Thread: Keep contests off page 1
Okay, here is the new deal. The prize for this is nothing more than the self satisfaction of knowing that you have helped to stop the hype and horseshit of the people most willing to steal your traffic. No other real prizes will be awarded, but you will certainly feel good about it.
The rules are simple. Whenever you see a contest thread from a Zango supporter on page, one, select a thread further down the page (or better from page two) and give it a bump. If everyone who comes in bumps the lower down threads, the contest thread will quickly sink off to page 2 (or 3 or worse) and stop being an issue. More importantly, it allows valid business issues to remain on the front page, and the bread and circuses can be shoved back where they belong (and it isn't sunny where they belong). Don't get scammed by promised huge payouts or bonuses for being the 120856th poster in a thread. More money is skimmed off while you are counting posts that can ever be made pushing those threads to the top. The winner in this thread is: YOU. Asking the sponsors and programs to be more honest, to use more ethical methods, and to respect your affiliate agreements is something that will directly help the bottom line of your buisness. Don't let these people fiddle while Rome burns. Bump a thread and take control. |
Bump for a anti-zango thread..
bumpy :)
Not a bad idea.
Oh yeah, try not to punish the more honest companies... just don't let the Zango supports dominate page 1 and attempt to distract people with bread and circuses.
Keep it nice, keep it fair, but keep the goal in mind :) |
bump!!!!
sounds good, but not all the contest threads are run by zango supporters
sounds good :)

bump for the next shift.
should be a contest forum!
I just think that certain companies abuse the contest priviledge to load up the front page with their stuff, often having 3 or more threads at the same time for different sites and programs that they run. I also think that any company that actively promotes zango on one side and then actually exects people to swallow "increased payouts" threads on the other is truly laughing at all of us.
Just say no to zango supporters. |
I think somebody should BUY gfy, and BUY playboy and adult.com and all that shit.. and then they could totally freez out zango and it's sponsors from the board and a big part of the market..
Good idea?! Who's buying gfy?! |
Well, that ain't going to happen... and as long as the cubic dollars keep flowing from AFF to GFY, well... they only way we can do it is by voting them off the island. :)
Good one.
quite a good idea
bump for a good idea
We went almost 48 hours without a cams contest on the front page... keep it up people. You have only a few ways to show how you feel... vote with a bump :)
