How many computers do you use for your work?
 

I'm building a new office and it includes 3 computers. 1 for Video Edition, which works 24/7 like a slave at 90% (poor computer), the other for uploading and downloading with one connection, and the third one for me, submissions, chat, administration, etc etc, with a second internet connection.. I could even have a 4th, but I think that 3 employees are enough, I need to cut expenses. :1orglaugh Maybe the 4th could be a notebook. :winkwink:

i have 2 athlon dual core... both for video editing..

i have a desktop and a laptop right nex tto it. my lead designer has a single desktop , and one of my writers/submitters has a single desktop

One P4 desktop that works as a media server for the LAN. One PM laptop that I use as my main computer. One P4 running Linux that holds all the database and server backups.

I'm getting a new computer next week with the E6600 and an Nvidia 8800GTS (can't wait to see that).

Between 3-4, depending if I really feel like crowding my desk with the notebook..

9 1 laptop, one main box for surfing and general tasks photoshop light editing 1 editing main editing box and small encoding jobs 6 dedicated encoders. All machines are Intel e6600 core duo processors with 4gb of ram. Add new boxes every month as our customer base increases. :thumbsup

most of the time only my desktop, sometimes laptop too

i got 1 dell demension 3000 that i do 99.99% of my shit on, and a old ibm thinkpad 380z sitting next to me that hasn't been turned on for about 3 months

one is enough for me...

im running 4 in my office , one as a large tower with 6 sata hard drives in raid

I'm surrounded by geek machines, but they do nothing but suck the productivity out of me.

I use one laptop but its 14 feet wide and 6 feet tall.

I have 3 desktops and a laptop. But only using 2 desktops and a laptop at this time. One for video editing & still capturing, one for submission and other little stuff and my laptop a little of everything.
