just watched UFC and it rocked!!! this one match was this slinky long legged blk dude up against this MONSTER white dude. Less then a min that black dude KICKED and knocked the shit out of the monster white dude. HOLY shit that was some kick ass fighting :)

I used to really be into watching all the no holds barred fighting. It's pretty played out now in my opinion. Used to be exciting, but now every guy in the world is a "ground fighter" or at least he is in his mind.

Everywhere I go, I hear guys talking shit like they are great ground fighting no holds barred warriors because they have seen every UFC twice and wrastle around with their buddies. Anyone else notice that?

UFC is awesome but I too enjoyed the first days of UFC where you had a sumo wrestler versus a boxer with boxing gloves :1orglaugh

Saw some killer action...it would always be some fucked up match up like some big 300 pound ju-jitsu guy vs. 130 pound Starvin' Marvin who did some Sambuko type shit.

I remember the one boxer that ended up in 2nd place it might have been the 2nd or 3rd one ever and he took out this guy with a pony tail by grabbing that pony tail and holding him to the ground while he kicked him in the head...LOL

Damn those were the days....I miss them:(

nhb still beats the fuck out of don king's boxing world. i'll take blood, cuts, and submissions over two guys panzying around a ring waiting on round 12 and a check anyday.

they've watered down the UFC (remember one fighter, three fights, $50,000?) and the production of the events is cheese, but once the fight's on it's the best thing out there (other than bumfights).

Yeah it used to also be no rules other than...No biting..and no eye gouging.

I remember one fight where this guy from Hawaii had this dude in a headlock but didn't quite understand the importance of submission holds yet...anyway the dude in the headlock sat there and punched the Hawaiian in the nuts about 10-20 times...LOL
