Anyone who link traded or traffic trades with me, you need to read this thread..

Unfortunately, due to many recent events, I have to view each & every single link trade & traffic trade from my entire network of sites.

I will be removing links to any site promoting the following blacklisted sponsor/affiliate programs.

Zango !!!
Adult Friend Finder / Cams.com & their other sites.
Sex Search
Cyberotica

Please note that ALL sites I find that have links to any of Zango's products, or ZangoCash, I WILL be posting the urls on GFY.. all removed links will be notified by email.

Thanks

say goodnight to a large portion of your traffic then :(

MikeG 11-17-2006 05:34 PM

Can you please show me where Cybererotica is associated with Zango??

We do not purchase any traffic from them ourselves and it's against our terms (section 9.5) to advertise with: Hijacked traffic; Use of Adware or Spyware;

Somebody posted a list here on GFY.. I gotta find it.. anyway, there was a list of adult affiliate programs that are being advertised via zango toolbar & popups.. some of these are due to affiliates using zango, so this could be the issue here,, Maybe a bad move on my part to not look at it further before making a decision, so, I'll take your word for it & take it as my mistake & remove cyberotica from the list.. but aff & sex search definitely stay on the list. Aff, seems we all know their "official" position on the zango plague.. I don't recall seeing or reading anything in regards to sex search, so, for the time being, it'll be as it is..

I'll try to find the thread for you so you can respond to it..

Way to trash Cyberotica without doing your homework though. Great job man. I am sure they appreciate the fact that you mention your mistake in the middle of that last paragraph after many have already seen their name in the very first post. Kudos for taking a post on GFY and relying on it to be fact.

People in this business absolutely blow my mind sometimes.

Umm, sorry to burst your bubble Nick, but Cyberotica sites are advertised via zango, likely due to an affiliate of theirs, as it IS in that thread I mention, as well as others seeing & finding the sites,,

see #20 here http://www.zangoblacklist.com/

As far as trashing em, not my doing as this threads so far only seen by very few people whereas the other thread I mention has been viewed by many, many people.. I'm looking for it now

if someone could show me an affiliate link I would appreciate it.

Well you're not bursting my bubble, I have no ties to Cyberotica whatsoever. The problem is, in your very first post you state loud and clear: "THE FOLLOWING BLACKLISTED BLABLABLA...Cyberotica." Then hidden in your second paragraph you say, "Oh...well that might be my bad...sorry"

Now, if affiliates are promoting them through use of Zango, then it should be the affiliate that is held responsible no?

I dunno, just seemed kind of like a shitty thing to read if you're not actually guilty of something. I'll crawl back in my hole...hell it's friday...I may go bake a cake.

It's not just you...it happens all the time on here. "BLABLABLA IS RIPPING ME OFF...BLABLABLA SPONSOR IS DOWN WTF WHY WHY WHY..."

Only to find out later that there wasn't actually an issue at all.

I understand, & unfortunately, yes, you're correct about what you say.

Mistakes happen sometimes, I'm just glad I am able to correct & admit my own.

Mike, here is the thread where CE was mentioned in Zango, if you'd like to read it.

Also, check out http://www.zangoblacklist.com & see #20.. I don't know who owns the site, but thought you should know.
