It was a free host. One of the webmasters that was using it had something that looked Lolita-like on it and cogent shut it down.

Used to be a free host until they got FUCKED :eek7

As you will see, it's a circle jerk from hell. As a free host that now gets to 404 all their traffic, they must be happy as hell. Time for them to open up a new free host in a few weeks under another name!

From what I understand it's incredibly hard to police a free host... that if you're going to own one you need to check the new pages posted every single day to delete CP posts, etc. If this host was irresponsible enough to not be policing then they deserved to be shut down. However, if it was an isolated incident (would be hard to determine) then I think as a host they should have had a chance to delete the offending page/user without being put out of business. Usually there is some due process before getting shut down, these guys must have been pretty irresponsible.

Me too, and I've seen quite a few of those teen webcam sites on various AVS services over the last year or two. There are *alot* of underage teen cam pics floating around out there.

I contacted a host about them once and was told that they don't take 'em down because even though they might look obviously underage, when the girls are post-pubescent the burden of proof falls into the ISP/DA or whoever is investigating to prove they are minors.

To clear up everyone's doubts:

we got shutdown because there were two incidents in less than 24 hours. that was the problem. we immediately removed the gallery that was reported as CP. then came another one and they gave us 2 hours before null-routing the IP. What could we do? I dont have the budget to hire a 24/7 support team. i was away for a couple hours and they killed the server. so nothing i could do about it. as for my 404. what would you do? would you send it to yahoo.com? and no, i'm not making tons of money. i'm making 2 times less than i used to make when it was running.

sorry to all who were involved. the obstacles were out of my control.
