Title: Who do you look up to in the adult industry ?

Just curious if you have one or two people in mind who you have gotten to know and like.

I tend to be more partial to the people who came from nothing and made it big, against all odds. People who have put in the hours, scratched and clawed their way to the top (ethically, never stole or cheated anyone to get there). Not someone who registered a good domain 10 years ago and is still milking that one domain to this day, but someone who has diversified, adapted, changed over time.

Personally, I like Lar's story ( from Cams.com) . Seems like a great guy from little I have talked to him, very professional, never has a bad thing to say online even when provoked, and he has accomplished a lot in the last 10 years.

So who do you look up too? If anyone and why ?

What an Moron I feel like now. So for all you people who think I have an agenda, Lars was one of the people I admired the most before all of this shit came out. That is the main reason I am posting this, which makes me look like a fool, is so everyone knows that my only agenda is scumware. I was even about to use AFF/Cams on some new projects I was working on. I have never said 1 thing bad about them prior to all of this coming out. :2 cents:

I wish I could dig up the threads from here where he said he will get my traffic one day. I always thought he meant I would eventually promote cams/aff not that he would take my traffic by using zango and not pay me for it. :Oh crap

the sad thing is I am not sending him traffic but he is still getting my traffic and instead of paying me $105 he is paying someone else .2 each time he takes it. :Oh crap

Probably more then anything I think Lars is a great guy. Great guys make mistakes, sometimes money gets in the way of reasonable thought. Sometimes you have to say no even if it costs you money.
Lars will come around, if there is one thing I have seen with the history of the internet is that any time there is a company that comes out with something that is not ethically right they eventually have to pay the piper.

Look at any processor that has processed questionable content, look at sites that have provided illegal file sharing...usually it is not a direct corelation to them sinking but the people do have a way of changing the world around them. Eventually there is an equaliser. Nothing is forever especially when it is not right!
