Plane tickets for Christmas...
 

Today I bought my plane ticket to visit family for Christmas. Holy shit. They really seem jacked this year, $200 more than last and last year I ordered really last minute. It ran me $990! A week before the dates I selected was something like $350-400.

Totally crazy.

I also read today that several airlines have cut their flights about 10%, which I'm sure has a huge impact on the prices. So if you're traveling for the holidays, better check into tickets soon.

It's peak oil screwing up ticket prices.

Flying home to the States in the Christmas period is about three times the cost of going a week either side.

that's very high prize !

It would be better if you buy tickets 1 month or two months earlier. :)

booked my mom a couple days ago.. 600 thru priceline oakland Ca to Tampa Bay

thats pretty high...i find ordering either way iin advance or at the last minute will give you the best price for christmas time...
