Dating Gold Cut Payout 50%
 

I've been doing business with Dating Gold for quite a few months after being contacted by a "REP" that wanted ad space on my site. After doing a test on the traffic we agreed on the payout of $5.00 per free email account that I sent them. Everything was going great until the first of November when my payout was dropped from $5.00 per email to $2.50, with absoultely no notification.

So I waited a week after sending an email asking why, and finally got my "REP" on ICQ. he said that he couldn't give me an answer and he had to talk to his boss.

2 days later after I replaced then with AFF - I went back to my "REP" (I had to contact him, he NEVER got back to me) and he said my payout had been cut 50% to 2.50 per email (which I already knew) and that he still didn't know why. He said if I wanted to know I had to ask his boss.

Now last month I sent them 231 signups, and they treat me like this?

I would still like an explanation, but at this point it doesn't matter, they have lost my business. So if there are any REPS from any other dating sites that want my traffic, let me know, I have space available.

You had a test run at $5 a free, to determine the quality and quantity of traffic. After reviewing it you were set at $2.50 a free flat rate.

I'm sorry you removed our ads but based on your traffic that's what we can pay you.

wrong. Brandon contacted me a few months back and wanted my top/header spot. I wouldn't budge until he gave me $5.00, it had nothing to with any promotions, etc. I knew you guys were going to play that card. However I have ICQ logs that back up my statements. I was promised $5.00 a signup for as long as I ran my top spot with DG.

this has happened to me with other sponsors, and now when I do a special deal like that I make sure I get the sponsor to fax it to me in writing.

Wow. This really disturbs me when a company does shit like that. I know it's not a great deal of money, but if you have a deal with someone you owe it to them to notify of changes in the deal. To just cut a payout like that sucks and it's bad business. If the facts presented are wrong, then 4pics you should tell us that there was a time limit on the deal. If not, your company blows and your policies suck.

this guy is a flamer, if he is unhappy with his payout switch companies. there are other dating companies. Just because you got your amount cut is no reason to badmouth someone. deal with it.

Lol, so what would it take for you to badmouth a sponsor? Do they have to not pay you at all, since paying only 50% of a promised rate seems like no big deal to you.

nobody seems to care about sponsors who support Zango, and they steal 5+% of your traffic.

The guy is bitching about his payout being cut in half, above someone from datinggold said it was a test. If any sponsor will pay me $5 flat for free profiles i will find a way to send a lot of traffic. But we see sponsors paying like $50 a sale or $60 or whatever.

Did you just start reading this board yesterday, there's been tons of webmasters who have voiced their opinion about sponsors supporting Zango over the last two months. Did you bother to even read the initial post, the payout rate was based on a deal he made with DG giving them the top banner spot on his site.

You act as if he's supposed to just not do anything when he gets paid half of what was promised to him and then call him a flamer and say he's just badmouthing. Wake the fuck up, I hope you take your own advice and keep your mouth shut when a sponsor decides not to pay you.

DG MADE A DEAL to pay him $5 per email for the top spot on S&C, ya know, S&C isn't some small time site and a n00b, that site has been around for ALONG ass time, and is part of a huge network ran by a very respectable member here, so you better know what you're talking about before you start slandering someone... idiot.
