this is exactly my thought as i read through the post and people's comments on it leaking to the free web. if it were really stolen and leaked to the net, surely someone would point out the fact that it was already out, and everyone was going to find it anyhow. someone would gets rights very very quickly and start promoting it the next day. why let such a profitable product slip away?
