I think it's pretty low class, but I have had friends it's happened to as well.

With email, instant messaging, texting ... relationships are so impersonal anymore.
I think it's great because it allows us to keep in touch with people who are at distance, but at the same time, even I find myself emailing my own sister who lives 5 minutes away rather than picking up the phone or even nuttier, actually going to visit.

The text breakup though is a perfect example of abuse of technology.

Depends actually. I mean, some guys, they can really work you, twist your brain up, make you feel bad, convince you etc. Sometimes letting go is the hardest thing and sometimes you just might not be strong enough to do it in person. Sounds impersonal, but you know...when it is over...it is over. He didn't seem to put out about it at his gig that night, announcing to "all the ladies" he was now single etc.

Supposedly she went to a hotel room where he was staying, demanded the keys from an employee and caught Kfed with another woman. At that point, I think whatever Britney's reaction would be is justifiable. Nothing worse than finding your husband/bf in bed with someone else.

Yep, a lot of classless people in this world. I agree that a breakup should be face to face, but I know people that have done it via answering machine, notes, etc. Also know someone who was fired via FedEx....so yeah, it's not uncommon.
