Is an exit console on a TGP site a no-no?

A TPG can do anything they want. But your gallery on most can not have one.

Cheating who exactly? What a strange comment. It may piss of the surfers so you'll have trouble with bookmarkers but that's about it.

Somebody else who's making no sense. Who mentioned trades. Trades are usually good on a tgp but why must he have and be cheating trades? Even then many are OK as long as you're not sending traffic to them via the exit.

Its your site do what you want, you might also want to consider auto download of a dialer, setting the surfers home page and disabling the back button. Personaly as a tgp owner and surfer I prefer a regular tgp with clean galleries rather than a circle jerk, no pop ups, exit consols etc, it takes longer to build traffic but in the long run its better quality, if there is such a thing!

It seems that a fair number (maybe half or a little more) of TGPs say "NO CONSOLES" in their trade rules. If you're going to use a popup, make sure your trades are all cool with it.

I have tried it with and without an exit console and found that I lost bookmarkers when I added a console. In the end, the lost revenue from the loss of bookmarkers wasn't worth the little bit I made on the exits.

I've done much the same in the past. Bookmarkers DO make money from a TGP if setup right and losing them for the small sales an exit makes isn't worth it. CJ2 was mentioned and is far better suited if you wanna start popping things up.

Using extra advertising (a popup) to try and make money with non-converting bookmark traffic is CHEATING

Sending that shit bookmark traffic to a trade with an exit is CHEATING... ya know why??? Because they know its worthless and dont want that traffic.

Dont expect your TGP to grow fast with an exit console. The bookmarks will shift to your trades who have no popups very soon. Without bookmarks your TGP is worth nothing.

hmm obviously you don't understand the webmastering rules of trading traffic,,,


TGP means a site with content mixed with blind links for trades
with 0 consoles,,,

CJ2 means a site with extremely small amount of content with one exit console,, usually not chained consoles

CJ means a site with 0 content with the use of entrance and exit consoles

and i can go on and on with various other types of sites


these are the standards 99.99% of traffic traders obide by these rules,,, violation of the rules is considered cheating your traffic trades,,,,

is this any clear for you?

Cheating only applies IF you are trading with people who don't allow exits. If you are not or even not trading at all for whatever reason (some small TGP's don't) then you are not cheating.

What the fuck are you going on about now? You haven't explained in any way how having an exit console is just general cheating as stated in your original post.

Sending trades to another site through an exit console is normally cheating unless you are trading this way by agreement.
Nobody ever mentioned trades.
Exit consoles have many uses other than trades.
No I would not recommend one on a TGP but it has fuck all to do with 'cheating'.

read all the different TGP trading rules,,, hell go to sextracker top 100 and 99.9% say 0 consoles for trades,,

If I am sending you traffic, I dont want to see a console on your page. There is no consol on my page. If i send you a surfer and he wants to come back to my site, I dont want him to have to got through exit ads.

If you want to use exit ads, make a duplicate page for the search engines and then a clean page for your trades.

many TGP sites will have a no-console page version, to trade with guys like the Shemp, who does not allow console trades. Then, they have an exit console version, to allow trading with exit consoles. I have this on a mature TGP - as do many other sites. This practice seems to be more prevelant on niche TGP sites - it is pretty common to see an exit pop off of a pornstar TGP these days.

It is only considered "cheating" if your trade partners do not trade with sites that pop a console. That is pretty basic - it goes for consoles, skimming/blind linking off of thumbnail images, etc etc.
