Sometimes the universe speaks to you loud and clear. Last week, while on Kauai, I had TWO stangers (older men) both approach me, 24 hours apart, and offer the same words of wisdom.

Seriously. Then, yesterday I was reading a fantasy book where the hero got a cryptic message that said, "Beware of the man with pink hair."
I almost dropped the book.

So let me get this straight. You don't find any irony at all in people repeating the phrase "don't be a sheep" as opposed to saying something like "don't be a follower"? I ask because neither of these people coined the modern meaning of "sheep", they're in fact, simply following the crowd in it's use.

Ah, yes... The paradox of mankind: We must bind ourselves in order to be free.
The human mouth can make an infinite number of sounds. But we must limit them in order to make words. And we must follow the use of word patterms so that we can communicate.

Being "free" is a delicate line to walk. :)
