AdWords - is it worth it? converstions etc
 

I'm debating doing AdWords for http://livexxx4u.com, but I was wondering what the conversion rates were and all of that. I'd assume they'd be decent considering it's from Google, but.. what's you guys' experience with it?

i'm not sure myself, but i'm guessing there's a definite formula to making adwords work in your favour. there's got to be some potential in it, so see what the responses here are, and give it a shot. i wouldn't expect anyone who knows whats really up to open up and share their strategies that easily though. luckily, there are a few cool people around who might let us have some scraps to work with though...

No problems with them at all. It takes a while to tweak your ads and campaigns

Google doesn't like porn.

But you can make some nice money with mainstream sites.

that site has the word... GIRLS on the page.. google will not allow you to advertise it anymore.. girl, girls, teen, teens.. there are a few others.

I found ad words to be a pain in the ass. It pisses me off when the learning curve involves paying money while you're learing. My suggestion is to read up on search engine optimization and couple it with trading links and buying text links from high traffic porn site. It takes about six months for search enigine optimization to pay off, but once your PR goes up, people will trade links with you. Good for the long run type of deal.

Thank you. I've done some SEO to the blog and it already gets a pretty decent amount of SE traffic to it.. not a LOT, but a bit.. usually 3-4 per day from SE's. Which is more than my first site got at the beginning.

It is not bullshit.. I deal with google every single day.. Try to set up an add with the words teen or girl in it.. or going to the landing page :winkwink:

adwords isn't made for selling porn and profiting....

I've had good results with adwords and live cams
you just need to tweak the campaigns a lot till you make them profitable.
Also with cams (I promoted revshare) it takes some time till you get all
your money back. But its worth it, I've stopped my campaigns when they
introduced the teen porn thing yet I still have users buying and making me bling.
If you want to experiment with adwords I wouldn't use that page tho.
Use a landing page thats focused on selling the product.

I believe something different.. If you target and microniche the ads without putting banned words in the campaign.. you can still make kick ass money at it.

Adswords can work great if you follow their rules - make a soft entry page and does use words like "boys, girls" or teens. Even a url with the word girls can be a real negative

google shut me down on adwords and my site was non-nude, but definitely adult related

The words Twink and Twinks are now banned as well lol

i have had a bit of results with mainstream using adwords...slow at first, but if you spend alot with thme, u will see the clicks roll in...gl with it.

Google are really starting to crack down on porn sites, they also now judge how much per click you will pay dependant on the quality of the page your are advertising.
