Good Domain Registrars? I need advice!!!

I've been using bulkregister.com for a while but they were bought out by enom and now everything as gone to total shit!!! Their interface has totally changed and their tools just suck compared to before!! Arg!!!

To make it all that much worse, I have about 300 domains and was paying 10 bucks per domain, per year. Now they are charging 20 per domain, costing me an extra 3k per year. Fuck that!!! And they give stupid canned responses to questions without any relevant info on the question i asked! they have become worse than register.com!!!

I need advice on good bulk domain registrars who have great management tools, and are 10 dollars per domain or less, per year.

Please help me out if you can, thanks guys!

What about tools such as global modifications and outgoing domain trasnfer information? Tools that are good for people with a lot of domains..

Let me know, thanks everyone.

I dont think you even read my post, i said enom sucks, they bought out an excellent registrar with excellent tools, and now have us on their shitty system.

LiveDose 11-13-2006 09:53 AM

We've used Godaddy for years. Thousands of domains, not one problem. I know others may have differing views.

Rhesus 11-13-2006 09:53 AM

Namecheap is good, but just take the best, Fabulous.com

Avoid Godaddy at all costs, at all costs I repeat!

I read your post, and you are dead wrong.. But whatever, have fun at all the other registrars that truly do suck balls..

namecheap? ugh namecheap is a enom reseller, if namecheap is the best, what is Enom?

godaddy? hahahhaah, good luck with that, not only will you have hell, you'll also have spam and bullies.

ForteCash, you should definitely be with Moniker. I will make sure you aren't paying ridiculously high fees, and I am not going to shift your pricing up. With the difficulties that Enom is having and the choice that afternic has made to stop supporting adult domain names and websites, it is only logical that the adult website community should be looking for a registrar that will support them and watch out for their best interests. The registrar the adult community should be looking for is Moniker. Give me a yell and I will help you out in any way that I can. Cheers!

Hello Forte,

I represent NameCheap.com. The only thing that we have in common with enom is the end result of a domain being registered. Our control panel and tools are all developed in house.

If you give us a try, I think you'll find our bulk management tools to be the easiest fastest and most organized around. You can make any changes to any or all your domains with just a few easy clicks. You can also create seperate folders for groups of domains and manage those all seperately.

We've developed our control panel on the premise of speed with an extremely intuitive design. We've been offering these bulk tools for over 5 years when most registrars were still handling single domains with seperate log-ins.

We were also one of the first to offer free pushes to our clients along with free WhoisGuard.

If you have any further questions or would like to checkout our cpanel before you decide please email me at Support at NameCheap.com "attention Richard Kirkendall" and I can give you access to a demo account. I'm also available to answer any of your questions.

ForteCash -

http://Namecheap.com

Use the coupon code YAFFASPECIAL and you get dot coms up for under $8 each with free privacy. Interface is superb, management tools are excellent and the customer service is second to none, which is why i have over 500 domains on namecheap and am about to transfer in another 100 or so.

Richard Kirkendale -

Please man, I am begging you. I seriously love Namecheap but please quit the "Domains For Sale" listings stuff.... leave domain selling to the sedo/afternic people, leave unrelated shit and focus on what you guys do superbly well which is manage the registration of domain names.

Alain DeLarge 11-14-2006 01:55 PM

What's the problem with godaddy? I only registered a few domains this year for the first time ever, so I can't say anything about the long term. Short term, though, they've been pretty good.

Youve just answered your own question. Youre not experienced and thats where Godaddy succeeds - in massive marketing and in scoring with inexperienced consumers. Use namecheap for a month and ill wager youll switch over in no time.

The worst thing about Godaddy is that they spam you to hell with offers in email and otherwise, make transferring domains out a nightmare and have an ugly interface. In fact theres only two registrars i strongly recommend people stay away from and thats Godaddy and Registerfly.

DaddyHalbucks 11-14-2006 02:19 PM

I only recommend this registrar:

http://www.moniker.com

:thumbsup

DaddyHalbucks 11-14-2006 02:34 PM

I don't notice any changes in the BR interface. Have they finished migrating all of their accounts?

1-800-313-WETT 11-14-2006 02:36 PM

We have over a 100 domains with Godaddy and I like the console and we never have any problems. Their support is really good as well..
You actually can get to a rep and they speak English, can you imagine!!

Thanks, maybe I'll give namecheap a shot next time. I have to say, though, I haven't had much spam with godaddy: about 5 "newsletters" I ignored and one ICANN notice, all since January. Haven't tried transfering, though, but I have no current intentions to move my stuff.

pradaboy 11-14-2006 03:04 PM

The only true secure registrar is Moniker.

Are any of these registrars out of the USA?

Probono, it is very seldom necessary for an adult domain name to be housed at registrar outside of the U.S. If you want to email me regarding your domain names and the content they are providing, I can tell you whether or not it is necessary in your specific situation. Cheers!

Brad Mitchell 11-25-2006 12:18 AM

We white label WildWestDomains at http://www.mojohost.com the interface is cool, the price is less than 8 bucks per domain and it is one of the largest registrars out there. It is, essentially, the sister company to GoDaddy. I set our prices as low as they could be as a courtesy to our clients.

Cheers

Brad
