seventies, eighties, nineties - 70's 80's 90's
 

And right now its 2006 and just about everyone refers to the 2000 years as '05 or '06 and they are spoken as Oh 5 or Oh 6 not zero...So unless the world has come to an end in the next 20 years my question is this....

What term will we use to refer this decade and 2010-2019....surely not the zeros and teens in 2023.

This only interests me since the same period in the 1900's there wasn't any grouped definition or term for the first two decades and personally only obscure facts come to mind when thinking about that time like the NY Yankees debut in 1903

It's the "turn of the centruy" until the roaring 20's hit.
