What was the worst accident you had when you were child?
 

I was 4 or 5 years old and I was playing with a small car, I felt and bite my tongue, I cut it with my teeth, it was about an inch or so to be tear off. They put it back with stitches. It sucked.

Lost my 2 front teeth in a head on collision on the bumper cars

Riding a bike and a bee hit me square in my right eye. The bike flipped, I landed on my head & blacked out 10 minutes later. Needless to say the following week was a drag filled with tests at the hospital. I still wonder if that incident has anything to do with the migraines I get these days...

i nearly choked on a candy - bus driver saved my life

I went to West Virginia at 4 yrs oldl to visit my dads side of the family on the potato farm.

I crawled into a little opening outside of the barn and heard the hummming noise but it didn't dawn on me what it was cuz I saw a little kitten and I was trying to call it to me. It was so cute...

Anyway, I bumped my head lightly on this "thing" attached to the side of the opening... and learned the hard way that it was a HUGE WASP NEST.

Hundreds of them stinging me brutally over and over and over and over and I was screaming and no one would come close enough to me to save me (nice eh?) so my whole family was screaming for me to "Jump in the crick Jump in the crick!!" so I submerged myself into the 8 inch deep creek between the barn and the house and held my breath as long as I could till most of them went away.

I still remember being scared to death of water but far more scared of the repeating agony of burning ass stings all over my body. It was pure hell. Good thing I wasn't allergic either cuz we were over a hundred miles from the nearest hospital way out in the hills.

Probably the most vivd and frightening memory I have as being a little girl.

id have to say getting a pitch fork through the knee when i was 4.

i broke mine left arm while is was playing football... it hurt very much... the two bones were broke...

my sister shut the heavy garage door on two of my fingers - she couldn't figure out why the door wouldn't shut - so she kept on slamming it with my two fingers caught in it - it's a miracle i didn't lose them. damn - that was 30 years ago and just writing about it I am kinda nauseous.

when i was 13 i took a slapshot square in the mouth - loosened all my bottom teeth but they survived.

when i was 14 and very drunk i ran face first into a metal post at night - i was staying with friends, i think i really had a concussion but everybody was drunk and nobody drove and nobody wanted to tell any parent - i had a headache for a week and felt weird.

Is getting bit by an alligator an accident? IF so that.

When I was two, a 6 year old neighbor of mine told me to walk upstairs to fill a big glass bottle with water. Needless to say I tripped and the glass nearly cut my finger off. I still have a big scar from the stitches going from my finger halfway down my palm.

I grabbed the handle of bubbling chip pan from off the stove when i was tiny, my Dad wanting to save me from burning hot all grabbed my arm and pulled me away, in doing so he pulled my arm outta it's socket.

I kept telling the nurses my dad broke my arm on purpose....lol....Not so good for my parents!

I've never really had a major accident.

I fell from a 10-foot staircase when I was still a kid. I was just lucky I got no serious injury from that fall.

I got hit by a car at 7, the guy was a local driving teacher... and the police later said it was totally his fault, lol. An old lady saw it happen and told my parents I flew 5 meters (16 ft) and landed on my back, and that my huge yellow Care Bear backpack probably saved my life, hehe. My left leg went totally blue and purple for a week but I didn't brake a single bone.

The next christmas he sent MY MOM flowers. Asshole.

Can't say for sure - but I know of several children on GFY that were the result of accidents.

I felt down from the tree at the age of 12 and can't breathe after that for a couple minutes, i was thinking that I am gonna die. But my fiends help me to stand up and squated with me a little that I could breathe.
That was suck

Fell down the basement stairs over the side from the top onto a concrete floor when I was about 8. Was knocked out for several hours. Several people will swear this has had a lasting effect on me ;)

The best one was my brother: We were in the den watching TV when he was around 9, he had the hiccups and decided to hold his breath to get rid of them. He passed out, hitting the stone fireplace hearth. I was across the room and told him to stop joking around until he stood up with blood gushing from his chin. I was maybe 13 and the only other person home was my semi-lucid grandmother. This was before the days of 911. Finally found a neighbor's maid who drove us to the hospital. They wouldn't do anything until one of my parents got there which was about 1.5 hours. They both walked in and fainted, lol.

He had plastic surgery but still has a nice scar to remind him. Chipped a few teeth too. Needless to say, we always tell people NOT to hold your breath when you have the hiccups :)

2 that really come to mind

- as a baby.. fell on same glass.. cut my right eye just below my eyebrow
docs restored the eyelid but nerves are dead now. Resulting in my only being able to open it 3/4 of the way. Gives my eye a sleepy-eye kinda look. Could get plastic-surgery for it now. But don't know.. the least time I spend in hospitals/... the better. BEsides I can see clearly out of it anyways

- anotehr was my and my older brother.. fooling around with my mom's old peddle-powered sewing-machine.. just plsying with the damn thing.. throwing whatever we could find under it (needle), till without looking my middle finger went under the needle and it cmae out nicely thru the other side. Screamed/hurt like a bitch. But the saying "play with fire.. and u get burned" always comes to mind when I think of that incident hehehe

Trapped my leg under a roundabout - was stuck fast for 3 hours - fire dept had to take it up with a crane and ruined it. Got 20 odd stitches.

I was maybe 4 0r 5 and was taking a piss and the toilet seat slammed down on my dick.

The worsed was when i fell down from tree straight on my back. I couldn't breeth for 1 minute. That was so scary!

Car accident when I was about 4. Semi truck ran a red light and plowed into our car. The window shattered and my face was cut up quite a bit. Plus some other trauma. I don't remember much other than being really upset that there was blood all over my new coat...lol

I had to have stitches and a couple of surgeries on my face that required skin grafts and such.

The worst I had was a bike accident I got while vacationing at my grandma's house. I just lost control with my bike and had a bad fall. I got a fracture arm after that.

got an dart arrow in my eye on my grandma's 70th birthday, 1 mm from being blind on that eye

I had a girlfriend who bit her tongue right off while riding in a boat. The boat was bouncing in the waves ( going fast ) and she bit her tongue off. so they had to airlift her off the boat to the hospital ( got it stitched back on ).. as she is getting driven back from the hospital her tongue fell off ewwwwww so she had to go get it sewn back on..

nope, but it was just payback for me chasing her with either a butchers knife or throwing the phone at her head...

got hit by a car when I was 7, BROKE both legs and was in a cast for 6 months. This was in a 3rd world country so the medical facility was not the greatest either.
