It is a GLOBAL comparison, so I think it's right on. It's an interesting site that puts things into a different perspective. If anything, what I got out of it was an ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE and keep things in perspective when my stats dip down hard from time to time.

shows that is off as 36k or so is the average income in the US. 150 million folks over that. This does not take into account Europe etc... No way this is on the ball.

I dont think the annual income tell how rich you are. Some have none income but have lots of assets :)

Exactly. It gives a global perspective on relative wealth. One thing to consider though, as India and China continue to become wealthier, the distribution will skew a little bit to the left.

type in 1.000.000 punds and 10.000.000 and you will realize that both income scales will make you the 107565 richest.

The problem I see with that system is that it doesn't compare spending power just income. Not very contextual.

Regardless, it's different and gives an interesting global perspective. Sometimes, it's easy to lose the latter.
