DNS Issues
i'm having issues with my dns, for some reason even though i changed my dns last month, if i goto www.poorfuck.com it goes to my old host, but poorfuck.com goes to where its supposed to... any ideas how i fix this?

i did, also added the ip to my host file, i flushed my dns, daily for the last week, everything, other people have been getting it also...

sounds like your new host needs to add an A record in your DNS settings.

you need to add to the httpd.conf file of apache that virtual server ( www.poo....). If no anel, with ssh, you need to edit the file and add that record. |
did you try doing a DNS flush?
|
directfiesta: i use cpanel/whm to do it
and madawgz, yes every day that it decides to show my old host instead of my current server :) |

so, in whm, go to edit dns zone, select your domain. Then add www 14400 cname yourdomain.com. That should get it to work in a few minutes or so ( restart bind as safety ). |
thanks, ill try that

hope you get everything fixed...
