I don't think I saw this posted on here yet, but last night they released a new 2:31 minute Spiderman 3 trailer which was debuted on a couple of tv networks last night and also Ifilm.com. Here's a quick link to it -

spiderman 1 was cheesefest. i used to read the comics but that movie was weak. didnt bother with the second, i may watch the third on dvd just because venom may be in it.. what about carnage?

isnt the black suit venom? maybe they just didnt show him in monster mode for the trailer

Nope. Black suit by itself is just a symbiote, it has to merge with a humanoid to take the 'venom' form. The black suit in the comics was found by spiderman during the Secret Wars, in the cartoon it came back on a space shuttle (I think). Dunno how it'll be in the movies. Anyways the black suit will eventually find its way to Eddie Brock and become Venom.
