Firefox , IE7sp2 , google , yahoo , icq, alexa, nortons DEFEATED
After a long fight firefox finally gave up the goods..
I now have working chained popups and chained exits that beat the latest firefox and ie7 with all the popup blockers/toolbars you can muster :) just thought i would share the good news , i bet you will see an increase in popups soon :winkwink: :thumbsup The way it works is quite dynamic thus even if i posted a demo here its not cut and paste type code . I would love to just hand the code out to everyone who asks but its a bit more complex than that . if you have lots of traffic and need a solution hit me up and we can work out a deal. |
great job, Smokey :thumbsup

you seem to reply to every of my threads ? do you just post in every thread or is it just coincidence ? |
can you defeat that zango shit?
I only get about 20k hits a day but its not tgp garbage, I may be interested in your popup solution |
Even with javascript off (a breeze in Firefox's case with the noscript extension)? This I gotta see.

I don't think I understand... are you saying pop ups is good? Exit consoles good?
|
Popups and exits suck. Those are just two of the reasons why surfers do not trust adult sites. At least with the popups on CNN.com, etc, they do not defeat the blocker, so people have a choice whether or not they are displayed.
Keep annoying the surfer and watch ratios continue to decline. Continue fucking your fellow webmaster in the ass just because you're so greedy/ so ineffectual at generating traffic that you have to resort to popups and exits. |

What needs to be installed to make it run? Does it use some quicktime trick or something?

Smokey - hit me up on ICQ. If your scripts work as you say, i'll be willing to make a deal with you.

I just visited fox and cnet and there weren't any popups. However, just because some mainstream sites might do it doesn't make it ok. Popups and exits are predominantly an adult website thing. I think what I said was true. Do you think surfers like getting popups and exits when they have their blockers switched on? |

i.e. if you went bought a new computer new os installed both browsers went to my site you would get both exit and entrance popups.. but because of the way they work in many cases with firefox it wont work , this is because of different plugin problems.. So your more experienced firefoxuser who has done some mods or add-ons to firefox ( or has ad blocker ) it wont work . because firefox is a finicky "more tech savvy" bunch this makes up a good portion of users.. i would say just guessing that it would work for 25-50% of firefox users and roughly 70-90% of ie users |
As far as an exit popup is concerned, can your new system detect the difference between someone clicking the back button within a site vs closing ones browser?
