Is GFY this slow for anyone else...or is it just me? :Oh crap

It's very fast for me tonight.

slow as in loading or people posting? if posting, its cause lots of people are at the Epoch party...or Gigacash bowling...i just got home ....was too tired!

Yeah, its pretty fucking slow. Sometimes I feel like I'm on my Grandmothers computer, waiting for AOL to dial in, or load a picture, runnig thru those 110 year old phone lines in S. Philly.

Am I the only one that notices these threads happening practically twice a week?

Well, it sounds like that TD knows what the problem is but apparently his hands are tied and he has little to no control to get it fixed. It's a shame really...but I guess that's how it goes :(

The reason I posted that video clip was to show TD and Rochard what I'm encountering trying to access GFY. I posted the other night that GFY was very very slow for me and Rochard replied that he loaded the page in 2 seconds. This of course is great news for Rochard but does nothing to help me figure out why it takes me 2 minutes or more to load a page. :Oh crap

As much as I think Dean deserves the fastest possible connection in order to assure consistent Twisty's samples (Thank you Dean, beautiful ladies always), I can honestly say I encounter slow loads on occasion, but it has never affected my income, my patience, or my quality of life.

Usually I take slow loading times to mean everyone else is already busy online - which means there's less people at the pool. So I think I'll go have a dip and come back later. Better for the blood pressure.

this happend to me yesterday , it took about 2-3 min to load the gfy forum .
On a 3 MB fiber optic connection took about 2-3 min .
Now i see it's fast again :)
