It hasnt for me. I have tried FHG, splash pages, free sites, feeder. Not 1 sale

AV9898 11-10-2006 02:38 AM

It doesn't work to me. But it really rises my alexa rank in a short time.

Ace_luffy 11-10-2006 03:04 AM

it depends on traffic provider....

martinsc 11-10-2006 03:06 AM

Welcome

Welcome. This is the best place to gain experience.
If you want good traffic, exchange won't help you cos' you're just too small now. You can promote your site on forums but you can get banned there pretty soon. Do it as others, invest few $ to start faster. See my signature for trafficholder, for about 3$ you got 1000 visitors, +0,5$ more you have USA,EU,CA traffic only. Trafficholder got tons of different niches - for example you can choose "teen pics" traffic only, what suits your blog best makes traffic much more effective. ENJOY. Wish you high earnings.

sometimes :)

Depends on two things:
1) What you define as "works" and
2) How much money you spend

If by "works", you mean it automatically get sales, then no, it doesn't work. Buying traffic means one thing: people clicking on a link to your site. It doesn't mean they'll stay, and it doesn't mean they'll buy anything from you or your sponsors.

Also, if all you're going to spend is $20 and get several thousand visitors in a short period, then it is a big waste of time. You need to be able to invest in a long term strategy until you get your own visitors organically.

Balance it with ABC trades and SEO until you're popular enough to get into some good traffic trading programs and - naturally - your own visitors.

asianbeautychat 11-10-2006 10:33 AM

thanks everybody, I will do some reaserch on that.

rigrunner 11-10-2006 10:57 AM

it depends what you want to do with it, what kind of traffic you're buying etc....

if you're unsure filter the traffic off so the surfers choose what they wanna see - shouldn't be too difficult for a newb.

People fire traffic at galleries + freesites and expect mega sales... going in blind... it's kinda stupid.

marumari 11-10-2006 11:00 AM

buying traffic doesnt work for me - i suggest using adbrite.com and setting up some nice ads on there. its easy to track your sales and hits as well.

It depends on many things. What kind of traffic do you plan to buy?
What is the origin? The url of the website you plan to feed?
In case you are interested to know more - contact me ( details in the sig )

Buying traffic does work if you know what you are doing.

reyz007 11-12-2006 12:19 AM

.
welcome abroad :)

well, i use CHOKER TRAFFIC and i can recommend it, but - you need use your brain :) , i agree with shotoku - you need to know what you are doing
.

darksoul 11-12-2006 02:42 AM

It works only if its extremely targeted
something that traffic brokers don't really deliver.
I would suggest you start building your own traffic.
You don't need to have a lot of traffic to make money, heck,
if you target it right you could make 1:20.
Start doing some blogs, some galleries and learn a bit of seo.
Traffic will flow and you'll eventually start getting sales and learn how to replicate it.
If you really want to buy traffic, I suggest buying from some webmasters,
some links/plugs on blogs will get you better traffic for less money.

boobshare 11-12-2006 09:41 AM

Buying TGP traffic to try to generate direct sales is probably going to lose you money. You're better off using it to build a site that will grow due to the feeder, eg by trading it.

free4porn 11-12-2006 11:03 AM

buying traffic can be hit and miss

bellybuttonlint 11-14-2006 06:51 PM

ASIAN BEAUTY, think logical...why on earth would a traffic broker sell REAL TRAFFIC that they themselves can use on a 30 to 50 dollar sign up sponsor ?

why would i sell 5000 thousand real targeted hits ( clicked thru traffic ) for 20 bucks when i can send those 5000 hits to a sponsor paying 30 - 50 per sign up?

i rather make 20 bucks then a couple of grand? hahahaha

DONT EVER BUY TRAFFIC UNLESS ITS FROM SEARCH ENGINES OR ADS ON A NETWORK..like adbrite...etc etc

bdld 11-15-2006 03:08 PM

if youre buying traffic to trade it, then its fine, but dont buy traffic and expect to make any sales. if that type of traffic could make sales, they wouldnt be selling it.

ADSinc 11-16-2006 11:28 AM

Remember with traffic it takes to build.

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Using traffic, converting traffic is not as simple as just sending them to a 30 to 50 dollar per signup sponsor. Converting traffic requires hard work. Some kinds of traffic require more work and effort to convert than others. So yes it does make sense for people with large amounts of traffic to sell some for what looks like a low price.

E.Kant 11-17-2006 05:36 AM

depends on what your objectives are and what you intend to get with the bought traffic. I would recommend to a newbee to start off with buying traffic. Learn the game first and play after !

luvlyn 11-17-2006 06:08 AM

alot of idea here, welcome and gudluck!^_^\/

TheShaft 11-17-2006 07:37 PM

I've bought traffic before, my advice is use a lesser known niche and buy from a reputable broker and you should be okay. It all depends on what your promoting and how your doing it. Good luck :)

Wagerboy 11-22-2006 11:02 PM

never had luck with it
