30'' vs two 19''
What would you preffer and why? The only option I have on doing two 19'' is extended desktop, so it would pretty much be as one screen.
Tough... but Id have to say 30" + 2 19"s Yeah... that sounds good. |
I prefer multiple screens, that's just me. You'd have the added benefit of price (two 19" should be much cheaper than one 30") and you'd have slightly more desktop space [or about the same] to deal with. But of course it matters what is your primary purpose of having two monitors or one, in some apps one is going to give you benefits over the other. So basically it comes down to price, what exactly you plan to do with them, and how much cheesepie is left in the fridge.

id say 2X 19".
Probably much cheaper too, you can get good 19" monitors for like $250 each? |
go dual 20s.. dells 2007wfp are well under $400 now
2 x 30's go for it man!
Dual * > *
Def dual 19's ... not sure if you can "maximize" different apps on 1 30" and see them both at the same time
Is the 30" quality up enough to use for work?
30 would be nuts
one is better than two... but it is more likely to go something wrong with one big monitor...
