weed and asthema: Anyone got it? (help)

I used to smoke a lot of weed, then all of a sudden i starting getting sinus infections and asthema like symptoms.. 2 years later its still here, I even have to use an inhaler now or theres no way i can do cardio, run etc.

Anyone else have these kind of symptoms from smoking weed? I dont't smoke cig's, just weed at night after the work is done, and this chronic breathing issue is really not getting any better :(

How often do you smoke with? Go to the doctor for reliable medical findings.

Are you overweight?

I seemed to have developed asthma this year.. and I dont think its from smoking weed..which I have smoked for 30 years. I beleive mine comes from living in a highly dry dusty area for the past 6 years and gaining 20 lbs. Since I have moved in this area, I have had serious sinus infections.

This summer I had 2 asthma attacks in 2 days while I was hiking..both were from running uphill...it sucked and I havent had one since then.

good luck

I've had asthma since childhood and I also smoke a lot of weed. I run ever day for an hour and never need an inhaler anymore. The older I get, and better shape I get in, the more the asthma fades.

That being said, try using a vaporizer for the weed. You will no longer be inhaling super heated gases and it's much better for your lungs.

I had a friend who got rid of his asthema smoking weed. I don't know mang. Hope it gets better!

Cool input, I also do about an hour of cardio 4 times a week and lift weights 3 times a week.. I am 6'6' and about 240 so i'm not overweight. I usually use a glass pipe to smoke with.

I used to be able to smoke weed all day long without any problem, but I will wheeze if I'm anywhere near a lit cigarette.

Listen... Don't be mistaked by the Weed I know all about it I'm from Amsterdam and have been smoking many years.. Altought totally clean for few years now.. Don't think that weed is all good and natural.. Most of it is grown by unproffesionals at home or some garage storage place.. They do all kind of nasty shit with it to stop it from smelling and to stop the insects. They use chemical after chemical to make the weed look and smell right.. Yeah thats nice but at the same time you are also smoking these chemicals and trust me thats some nasty shit their using sometimes. Causing braind damage, lung damage and whatever damage it may cause to your body..

My advice is to stop smoking anything.. and if u really really need to smoke so much try to grow yourself 1 or 2 plants so atleast u know what your smoking is clean... Anyways astma like symptoms can also be cause by stressed or psychological problems also cause allot of times by smoking weed. Don't be oblivious to what weed can do with your brain, cause the plant is allot stronger then most people realize... It can cause multiple personality and psychosis and this kinda thing.. And this is not what I read I've seen it happen to friends of mine...

Dont get me wrong i'm not an anti weed person allot of people around me still smoke but personally for myself I reject it ... I feel much better since I stopped smoking it..

if I lived in Amsterdam i wouldnt worry about it =)

Yeah, I used to smoke alot of weed. I used to think it made me feel better, think better, ect ect. I had to quit a while back and I havn't looked back I feel much better and have alot more energy. I think more clearly, my memory has improved 100%+. I would advise anyone who smokes weed heavily to take a few months off to see how it is, you might like it :)
