Good Antivirus s/w for my notebook??
 

I have norton on my desktop, but I only use my notebook when I go on holidays to remotely access my sites etc via a 14.4 cellular internet connection, so I only want to purchase a full a/v software as a last resort

But like a lot of you I get tons of email viruses every day, so it would be a good idea to protect agains this... any ideas?

also does anyone know if it is possible to put filters on my server email so that it filters and dumps alot of these junk emails before I get them?

Last year it took 45 minutes on the cell connection just to download one days worth of emails :(

hmmm, deleting virus infected emails before you can download them. Wouldn't know of any software the could do it from your notebook. It would need to be installed on the mail server to check those emails. Can you alter your email server settings and install software?

Have your mail directed to a host that has a kick ass wiruswall.

as personal AV-proggy on your commend I do recomment KasperskyKaspersky Anti-Virus.

After I received several worms that NAV didn't recognise although I updated my definition files once a day I tried out Kaspersky and so far I had no problems.
