I was being sarcastic.. the banners were up long before they announced the promo..

I wondered the same few days ago when I wanted to give them a try

and upsells in recurring programs like its a given.

An answer about what? The use of ads, or that some of these ads are advertising the same sites that are stealing traffic via Zango?

When they were the first to defy the use of Zango, I checked their sites out to see about promotion and noticed those ads first thing. So I didn't sign up. While having the ads are bad for anyone sending traffic, it doesn't appear to me that they go out of their way to hide the fact that they cover their sites with them.

Have you guys checked your links with affiliate codes in them? My affiliate code link to AmateurMatch doesn't have ads in them. This seems more like its just the front page with no affiliate code that has banners in place.

To my knowledge you can accept a lower payout and not have ads show for traffic sent through your affiliate link... didnt think it was a secret that DG had ads on their sites...

agree with PleasurePays - u have to be a complete imbecile to promote any site or program without checking for traffic leaks and any other shenanigans that put money into their pockets without putting any into yours.

that site is a joke with that many leaks.

I had ads on my landing pages so i use Fling at the moment, see sig :)

So, it's kinda: You send us traffic, we take some of it, make money with it and give a part of this money back to you if you are lucky...

What's next ? A sponsor with $1000 PPS for a site cluttered with 3rd party links and a 1x1 image in background color that carries your affiliate code ? :mad:

are you talking about my points?... the simple fact that suing Zango is not going to change anything being that there is 400 Zangos out there and the fact that suing AFF which can be easily proven to have intentially have stolen directly from affiliates will cause some pretty broad changes to how affiliate programs operate?

hating zango is very misguided in my opinion. hating zango and the other 399 zangos out there won't clean up this business. the porn business is fucked up because of who is in it... not due to external factors. adware will always be here, whether you like it or not. hating zango doesn't help adult affiliates and webmasters. suing zango as a way of venting frustration is just as misguided of an idea as any i have heard here. first, they are already under intense scrutiny and have been. second, they can tie anyone up in court for years, forcing them to incrue seven figures in legal fees that no one will be able to pay if they wanted to. people wouldn't unify to fight acacia who was right in everyones faces... why would they be expected to support a fight against an invisible threat?
