Google won't be taken over so easily, back then people didnt say "altavista it" and there weren't millions of pages with adsense on it and altavista never had as much media attention as google does. To overthrow google it would be like an auction site taking over ebay, or a website outgrowing amazon.com. Google is pretty much here to stay.

they did some of a test with 500k/day people a little in oktober it seems.. http://alexa.com/data/details/traffi...l=powerset.com the project could be serious... who knows... I might try it out if it delivered more accurate results and less se spam. |
i've always thought google was going to get their asses handed to them one day and thus never invested in the stock...at least they have an acquisition strategy so it seems like it will take some time..

Did u know google founders went to altavista first to sell them their software, altavista decided the purchase. Who's ever decision that was was a very very wrong one
